Machu Picchu

Lake Titicaca - Puno
The city of Puno is believed to be the first hub of the indigenous migration in Peru, and the birthplace of the Aymara people that existed in southern Peru before the Incas. The area is rich in archaeological sites, most notably the pre-Incan tombs of Sillustani.
But the main attraction here is the stunningly beautiful Lake Titicaca, and its fabled islands including the floating islands of the Uru people, created entirely of dried totora reeds. Nazca Lines - Paracas
It is generally believed that the Nazca Lines were created nearly 2000 years ago by the indigenous Paraca people, but there are endless theories to explain their origin and use including suggestions that the images were astronomical maps, agricultural calendars, even messages left by visiting aliens. What we do know is that the gigantic images have been fascinating observers since their discovery in the 1930s, and that they can only be fully appreciated from the air.
