Trip Summary
3 nights in Mountain Pine Ridge

The Mountain Pine Ridge is 300 square miles of granite and pine, smack in the middle of the otherwise tropical Cayo district of Belize. Its magnificent vistas, gorges, caves, and waterfalls are what makes this such a popular destination.

Outdoor activities abound here, with spectacular natural attractions like Rio on Pools, Hidden Valley Falls (aka, 1000 Foot Falls), and the incredible Rio Frio Cave.

Accommodations in Mountain Pine Ridge include spectacular Jungle lodges that offer elegance and harmony the beautiful natural surroundings.

The Mountain Pine Ridge lodges can be a nice respite from the heat and humidity of the Belize coastal destinations, there may just be more to do here, than anywhere else in the country.
3 nights in Ambergris Caye

Ambergris Caye (pronounced key) is the largest of Belize's nearly 200 offshore coral sand islets and atolls, and the most popular destination in Belize, primarily because of its proximity to the largest coral reef in the western hemisphere, the Belize Barrier Reef, and the extraordinary underwater activities and attractions available here.

Accessible by commuter plane in 15-20 minutes, or by water taxi in an hour, Ambergris Caye, is a premiere destination for underwater, snorle;ing, and fishing devotees, and the super relaxed nearby town of San Pedro, is the perfect place to relax and discuss the day's adventures under gently swaying palms.

Ambergris Caye can be linked with other great Belizean destinations, and our flexible itineraries can be customized to modify the length of your stay, your hotel choices, transport options, and planned activities.

Belize

Belize is blessed with 180 miles of magnificent coastline, a warm tropical climate, glistening white sand beaches, and an abundance of natural, and historical wonders. It is also home to the longest coral reef in the western hemisphere, and its gorgeous island cayes, jungle rainforests, extensive wildlfe habitats, and well preserved Mayan ruins have made this tiny nation one of Central America's hottest destinations.

My wife and I couldn`t have been happier with our honeymoon trip! We found the trip package on Travelzoo.com, which then routed us to your website to book. I found the website to be very easy to use, and enjoyed being able to follow the status of our trip while it was being confirmed. As for the trip itself, we had a tight connection flight (30 min.) in Houston, but were able to make it without a problem. Once we landed in Belize City, we were met by someone right outside the airport who gave us some information about Belize, as well as, what would happen when it came time to move from the first resort to the second one. He also introduced us to our guide that took us to the first hotel. The first hotel was FANTASTIC! We were one of 2 couples staying at the hotel, and felt like we had the place all to ourselves. The staff knew us by name upon arrival, and were just as nice as can be... we felt like family by the end of our stay. We were pleasantly surprised to find that they would tidy up the room during each meal. The accommodations were clean, and the grounds were just beautiful. The food was amazing, and enjoyed that the chefs would come out to chat with us during the meal. My wife and I decided to have an `excursion day` and go do the Barton Creek Cave Canoeing and tour the Mayan site of Xunantunich. The hotel staff took care of booking everything for us, and it was great that our private guide (Rick) was employed by the hotel, and was also the same person who picked us up from the airport. We were sad to see our time end at the Hidden Valley Inn. The hotel was great in getting us to the airport on time to catch our flight to the second resort during our stay. We had no issues with the flights, and liked that we were again met at the airport upon landing in San Pedro, and given information about our stay. For the second half of our trip, we stayed at The Victoria House. The pictures we saw of the resort online didn`t do it justice... it was absolutely gorgeous! The staff was very friendly, and willing to help with whatever questions or needs we had. We loved that they had a their own private beach. The rooms were very nice. My wife and I went snorkeling and will recommend them to anyone. We ended up being the only people in our snorkeling group, so we basically ended up with a private guide for the day. We enjoyed being able to eat at many of the local restaurants and try a variety of dishes. If we had it all to do over, we would not change a thing! The communication was great throughout the entire process, and we never felt like we were being taken advantage of. We would highly recommend LatinDestinations.com, as well as, Hidden Valley Inn and The Victoria House to any of our friends and family if they were looking to book a vacation. We`ll hopefully be looking to book another vacation through LatinDestinations.com in the future. Thank you for making our honeymoon a special experience for us!

This was such an amazing trip. Besides everything I did and got to see. I was so beautifully coordinated I could not have asked for anything better. Everything was so amazingly smooth I would definitely recommended to anyone. I also did this trip alone, but the hospitality never let me feel like I was alone. Thank you, Julie G. Los Angeles, CA

We loved our vacation to Belize. The transfers and hotels were perfect for us.We are contemplating going back in a year if we can shop for cheap tickets for next March...$500 each or so...but we know we need to be prepared to not find that!We highly recommend more nights though at 5 Sisters and also knowing that they are the ONLY place to get meals while at the resort. We just would have budgeted our trip differently--for AWESOME tours and such. Not realizing that, we were only able to send part of our party on the tours since we needed to save more for food--that`s our only thing...not even a complaint...just something we`d do differently.I also loved being able to talk to your representative and email her to arrange the trip.It made it way easier to explain our travel options so she could find the best deals for us.Thank you!

Our trip to Belize was great!. All plans and connections went smoothly. Accomodations were just as expected. We were pleasantly surpirised by the food. I would definitely recommend your website. The only thing I noticed was there were a few errors on our plan outline. There was no mention of what airline we were flying to and from Ambergris Caye. The hotel was able to call for us. Also it said that were being picked up at a nearby hotel when really we were being picked up at our hotel which was better. I really should have clarified these with you before leaving home but I did not notice the discrepencies.

I would like to thank you for organizing a fantastic and flawless vacation for my family. From the organization of the web page to allow me to review the different options for flights and hotels, to your assistance in securing seating on airlines, the service was top-notch. Both lodges we stayed at were staffed with very friendly and extremely helpful people. Accomodations were great at both-we wanted to experience the rustic nature of the Belizean forest at Five Sisters, and they delivered. Javier and his staff were wonderful. Our stay at Xanadu on Ambergris was luxurious. They had problems with electical system one day, so to compensate, they provided us with a day-long sail/snorkel trip at no charge. That gesture was unexpected and greatly appreciated, and the electricity was back on right when we returned, so we hardly noticed the interrruption. The connections were flawless as well. I would in particular like to acknowledge Calbert, on Five Sisters Staff, for his kindness and helpfulness in our connections as well as in guiding our excursions. He really provided us with a personal touch. Thanks again for a memorable experience for our family. I will be sure to recommend your service to others, and look forward to our next experience in Latin America-of course using your services.
