Enjoy a stay with all the comforts but inside the jungle at Guanavenas Posada Lodge. You will travel 2 1/2 hours by road and 1/1/2 by motor boat up the Urubu River.

General facility

The Pousada dos Guanavenas is located 180 miles from Manaus in the Island of Silves, former refuge of the Guanavenas Indians, who were wiped out during the XVII century. The Pousada dos Guanavenas offers a beautiful architecture using local wood, built as an Indian hut. It features all the facilities of a first class hotel, but with one difference: it`s completely inside the jungle. It offers a restaurant, a bar, 2 swimming pools, game room, video and TV room, exercise room, volley and tennis squares, leisure grass camp and an observation tower (30 meters high), meeting room, with all the necessary equipment and handicapped facilities. Communication is available via DDD and radio.

TOURIST VISA REQUIRED FOR U.S. CITIZENS VISITING BRAZIL. VISAS MUST BE OBTAINED IN ADVANCED FROM THE BRAZILIAN CONSULATE.
