Praia do Forte is the first Eco-Resort of Brazil on the east coast of the state of Bahia. It is a paradise of tranquility, nature and ecology surrounded by 12 km of virgin beaches, multicolored coconut palms without ends, reefs, natural swimming pools with crystalline waters, rivers, rapids, lagoons and relics of the Brazilian Colony.

The resort features 4 swimming pools, 3 restaurants, 3 bars and four tennis courts. The area occupies an area of 250 thousand square meters surrounded by five ecological preservation areas. The Praia do Forte Resort is a two story building made with rustic wood and bamboo which combine with the 200 rooms to make this property what it is.

The hotel will be renovating the convention center from July 15 to November 30, 2008. During this period, conferences will be held in a newly built room located close to the entrance of the hotel, and the other services will continue to be offered normally, without any interference in the other daily activities. .

All the rooms feature either 1 King sized bed, a Double bed or two Twin sized beds, private bathroom, air conditioning, mini-bar, safety deposit box, television, telephone, hair dryer, internet access and a balcony wth views of the Ocean.
