Fernando de Norohna is a fascinating paradise, and Ze Maria`s Pousada was built according to all ecological rules. This pousada was created not not removing a single tree, and instead planting another hundreds of native trees, fruit bearing and ornamental species. All eqquipmet are powered by solar energy from the flat-screen TV sets, the whirlpool bathtubs to the silent mini-bar.

The swimming pool was build with infinite edges, and it gives the place an excellent view. There ia a poolside bar and hammacks all over the garden that are a perfect place to enyoy a caipirinha.

Pousada Ze Maria is well known for its refined cuisine, but also because of its unique sense of welcoming its guests. Ze Maria uses the same personalized friendly touch he practices during his dinner parties in every detail of his pousada. The staff is friendly and professional.The food at Pousada Ze Maria is exceptional; you can feast on the weekly sea food buffets or you can try the exquisite Amazonian Crawfish dish by the chef Celso Freire.There is a little gift shop for guests who want to take home souvenirs.

Pousada Ze Maria features 15 comfortable rooms all eqquipped with telephone, 29 TV with Direc Tv, box spring mattress, silent mini-bar, air conditioner, private bathroom, solar heating for showers and a view to the sea among other ammenities. All bungalos were built with jatoba (Brazilian hardwood)
