Rio de Janeiro - Buenos Aires.
Trip Summary
3 nights in Rio de Janeiro

Rio de Janeiro is the most visited city in the southern hemisphere, owing at least partially to the 2,000,000 people that pour into its streets, hotels, clubs and restaurants each year for Rio's legendary Carnival celebration, but any time is a good time to visit Rio, and revelers flock to this exhilarating city to enjoy its stunning vistas, perfect weather, sizzling nightlife, and fabled white sand urban beaches with alluring names like Copacabana, and Ipanema, that evoke samba music, and a uniquly Brazilian sensuality.

Other famous landmarks here include the giant statue of Christ the Redeemer ('Cristo Redentor') perched at the top of Corcavado Mountain, and Rios's most recognizable natural monument, Sugarloaf mountain (Pćo de Aēścar) with its network of cable cars straddling the ocean and the Baia de Guanabara.

Rio has been selected to host, both the final match of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, and the 2016 Summer Olympics, the first South American country to ever be so honored, so in a city already passionate about sports, especially futball, one could assume that the parties have already started and will continue through 2016, unless that is Brazil wins the World Cup. In that case, all predicitions are off.

Rio de Janeiro is without question a city that people just love to visit, and the reasons for this are as inexhaustible as things to do in this electrifying city, With four and five star accommodations lining Rio's beachfront strips, and stylish boutiques available in its historic Harbor District, Rio make a perfect centaral hub for connections to and from just about all of Brazil's spectacular destinations. Our featured Rio itineraries, can help show you how to link the "Marvelous City," as it is know in Brazil, with the rest of this remarkable country. Samba anyone?
3 nights in Buenos Aires

Built in the image of the great European cities, Buenos Aires is Argentina's cultural epicenter, known for its music and dance, its cuisine, fine wines, and vibrant night life. Although it has retained much of its Colonial European influence the design and architecture in Bueno Aires reflects influences not only from Spain, but in many cases Paris, Rome and other Euro capitals as well.

Buenos Aires is divided into neighborhoods or barrios, each with its own personality and unique flavor, and cafes, tango bars, clubs, restaurants, museums, and great shopping will make any visit to Buenos Aires fly by.

So whether you are headed from here to the splendor of Patagonia, the wine region, or the majesty of Iguazu Falls, Buenos Aires is a city that will remain in your memory long after the last tango has ended.

Our trip was absolutely amazing and working with your company was one of the easiest and best experiences we`ve had while planning a big trip like this. Customizable trips, lowest prices we found, organized and updated itineraries sent out, etc. the list goes on and on. We truly appreciated the fact that once one of our airlines went bankrupt and were not offering refunds to already purchased tickets that you went ahead and booked another flight for us free of charge! The pick-up and drop off service to and from the hotels and airports was phenomenal and the entire trip went off without a hitch. Thanks again! We`ve already recommended you to several friends and will definitely be using you again in the near future! Alex S. Chicago, IL

We had a great trip. First off April at x156 was very knowledgeable, helpful, and flexible. Please let her know that we appreciate it. The hotel at Copa Cabana was good; good English speaking front desk and very helpful. The hotel at Argentina though Studio was very practical. Again, very good English speaking front desk. There was not a single surprise. And that is good. I appreiciate this and look forward to talking to you again

Excellent vacation. Both Novotel Buenos Aires and Marina Palace Rio were nice places to stay in great locations. Flights were on time and were great. The nightlife in both cities was amazing...cannot wait to go back. Will most definitely book again with you. Incredible trip...thank you!

We had a wonderful vacation in Rio de Janiero and Buenos Aires. The web site did a superb job of coordinating our flights with connections, transfers, and hotels. We stayed at the Arena Copacabana in Rio and The Caesar Park Silver Obelisko in Buenos Aires, both of which were excellent in terms of amenities and location. The website was user friendly and bookings were completed in a timely fashion. In addition, our agent April was very helpful in her suggestions for hotels and helping with booking arrangements. We will definately be recommending the website to friends and colleagues in the future.

The trip was wonderful... thanks so much to JoAnn Ramsey for her patience and putting together a great vacation for us. The hotel selections were beautiful. We will surely use your services again. Thanks again.

Everything went as smooth as silk. It was great being able to enjoy my vacation without worrying about logistics like getting to and from the airport. All the service providers exceeded my expectations. The hotels were wonderful. I would definitely recommend your website to all my friends and I look forward to planning my next trip with your company. My only nitpick would be the way itineraries are sent via email. Most mail clients read .html files as spam, so it`s probably better to send via PDF.

I thoroughly enjoyed the vacation. Everything was great. The hotels were exactly what we requested, and were top notch. The transfers and guides who came with them were even better than expected and ultra friendly. I will without a doubt use Latin Destinations again going forward and have already recommended the site to some friends.

Our vacation to Rio De Janeiro and Buenos Aires was outstanding and memorable. Rio: The accommodations at the Orla Copacabana were an exceptional value. The room was modern, clean and well decorated. Breakfast was outstanding with full array of choices. Staff was friendly. We stayed in ocean view room with spectacular views of Copacabana beach. Only suggested area of improvement would be to offer more sightseeing tour options and ATM services. Airline and transfer services were without a hitch. Overall, I would rate experience 9 on scale of 10. Would definitely travel there again. Buenos Aires: The accommodations at the Intercontinental were excellent. This was a very upscale hotel with beautifully appointed room and decor. The area surrounding the hotel is a little seedy, but felt safe during the day. Breakfast was exceptional with large various of offering. Staff was professional, but did not appear to be too friendly. Room views were limited. No issues with airline and hotel transfer. verall, I would rate experience 8 on scale of 10. May travel there again.

Our trip was great. Your company was very helpful. Hotels were comfortable and staff was helpful. Flights were on time. Overall a good value. Only problems (not your fault) were a couple of tours booked through the hotels. Transportation to a soccer match at Maracana in Rio was chaotic (moving people from one bus to another, lots of waiting, general disorganization). City tour in Buenos Aires booked through the hotel was bad - couldn`t understand the tour guide, little interesting information provided, mostly just stopped at a couple very touristy places. Especially good experiences: walking around in both cities, favela tour in Rio, Sugar Loaf (although we got stuck for 3 hours because of a wind storm!), inexpensive food and shopping in Buenos Aires.
