We had an amazing trip!!

Thanks for the opportunity to provide feedback. At first, we were a bit disappointed that both hotels in our trip plans were changed. We had agreed as a couple that both hotels that we had chosen were good choices. When it came back that both hotels had to be changed, it was a bit of a let down. The fact that I dealt with your company in the past allowed us to believe that is credible. I will just say now that the eventual hotels were amazing, likely way better for what they offered than the original hotels. Every transfer came on time and the travel between sites was pleasant. Every driver or guide knew english even though the itinerary stated that some were to be spanish speaking only. I can`t say enough about Mountain Paradise, it actually is a paradise. Guests are immersed in what makes Costa Rica a beautiful destination, the colourful birds, the wide variety of flowers, fruit trees, and the Arenal volcano. Being in a self-enclosed house for a hotel room is the best way to experience this part of Costa Rica. A regular hotel room in a multi-level building does this part of Costa Rica an injustice. I thank Mountain Paradise for the unsolicited upgrade to our accomodations. It made our 10 year anniversary that much more memorable. Rui Palace Costa Rica was only 1 month young when we visited. This all inclusive was very nice. The food exceeded any other all inclusives that I have stayed in. The specialty restarants made guests feel that it was truly sopisticated dining. I was disappointed that the specialty restaurants had a 2 day pre-booking wait and that not all were open each day. However, the buffet was exceptional in food quality, taste, and variety. It did make up for the lack of access to the specialty restaurants. The location is a secluded beach with many meters of sand to walk on. Most guests stayed within the hotel grounds as there are 3 large pools and there is also Hotel Guanacaste beside the grounds which is accessible to Rui Palace guests. My feedback for the Rui Palace is that the cappacino bar should be open earlier in the day as opposed to 10AM and that the fitness area could also be open earlier as opposed to 8AM. Overall, everything that your company and your local provider arranged lived up to and exceeded our expectations. We would and have recommended your website to people we know. We even got a perfect day to see the Arenal Volcano...not one cloud in the sky! I appreciated the call on the first night as well!! I was very happy with all the hotels that were booked including Corteza Amarilla Art Lodge and Spa, Mountain Paradise Hotel In La Fortuna and Bahia de Sol In Playa Portero. I would recommend upgrading to the suites in Bahia De Sol. All the people of Costa Rica are friendly and very accomodating as well staff in all of the hotels. The breakfast that was included in all the hotels was very good. We were met promptly at the airport. I would recommend using your wensite to plan a vacation.

We booked our entire trip to Costa Rica through your website including flight, hotels and transfers. During our trip, we stayed in San Jose, Arenal (La Fortuna) and Guanacaste (Gulf de Papagayo). Everything was fantastic - though we weren`t able to find a direct flight in either direction, but the suggested flights ended up giving us more than enough time to get through security/customs, grab a bite to eat and make our flight. Once we arrived in Costa Rica, our private transfer from San Jose was on time and air conditioned - perfect. The first hotel was everything that we expected it to be an more. The rest of our trip was a similar experience...everyone was extremely friendly and service was always better than we could have expected. A couple of pieces of advice: 1) We had a somewhat difficult time understanding why your website couldn`t guarantee that we`d get our selected hotels, but in the end it all worked out fine (simply an issue of booking flights vs. booking hotels); 2) if you can, only pack a carry on...makes customs fast and easy; 3) keep your wits about you in San Jose...though friendly, it?s like any other city with pickpockets and the like; 4) if you`re from the states, bring dollar bills to tip; 5) go zip lining (canopying) - unbelievable. Great trip.

Great place to visit. Voucher system works great. No problems in airports. No problem finding our driver to first hotel although I felt it should have been a smaller vehicle to transport just 2 people. More eco friendly. First hotel just for one night was ok however country inn doesn`t have elevators so I would request bottom floor... I am in great shape but have heavy luggage. We waited several minutes for someone to seat us at that restaurant...it was open but no one else there and no workers for several minutes. The ride the next day to Magic Mountain was long but got to see a lot of the country and nature and the driver was nice. Didn`t find any reclining seats though but the ride was ok. The breakfasts were fine. Everywhere we went tons of fresh fruit and I never thought beans and rice could taste so good. Several of the little restaurants in downtown La Fortuna were delightful and people friendly and willing to answer questions. The volcano tour was alittle disappointing for me. I thought we were going to the national volcano park area.. and didn`t get very close to the top. The guide of this trip however was very nice and funny and we learned a lot. And it was a great hike. I thought the hot springs would be more of a natural not man-made area but after our long hike it sure felt good but we didn`t stay long there. however the meal at the restaurant that evening was wonderful! RAFTING DAY WAS FANTASTIC GREAT GUIDES GREAT WATER WE HAD A BLAST! The ride to Ocotal was fine THE VIEW FROM OCOTAL WAS INDESCRIBABLE! AS MUCH AS WE HAVE TRAVELLED I DON`T THINK I HAVE EVER SEEN A PRETTIER COASTLINE Scuba diving tons of fish.... not much coral ocean not as choppy as we thought it might be very nice people and that was a great day! Great breakfast at Ocotal. Not very fond of the birds swooping down on tables but its part of the charm. Saw so much wildife there iguanas and snakes and possums and raccoons. Coco beach nice town. Was hoping to find some latin dancing but just younger music and stuff we hear in the states. But nice places downtown to eat and cab drivers very very nice. Canopy tour great mudbaths so much fun but long lines with us that day. Horses nice but alittle thin and the ride wasn`t very long we own horses ourselves so they looked alittle thin to us and we hate riding them on gravel its hard on their feet. Just sayin. But very helpful nice folks there Ride to airport prompt and the airport was very humid but no problems with customs etc. safe smooth ride home. I didn`t have near the bad experience with mosquitos that I had heard from other folks and no problems with drinking water either and believe me I drink tons. All in all a wonderful trip that we wont soon forget. Felt like we were in a James bond movie its one place I would go back to.. APRIL STILES WHO BOOKED MY TRIP AND PUT UP WITH MY HUNDREDS OF QUESTIONS WAS AWESOME!!

My vacation was wonderful! (That word should suffice). Yes, I have been referring my friends to use your website; the only complaint (not really a complaint since the time was necessary) was the ungodly hour of pick-ups for travel to the next destination. I guess the remedy for that would be a longer trip to spend more time in each area. Otherwise, all accommodations and transportation were above what I expected for the amount of money paid. I hope your website continues its superb service for affordable prices.

Our trip to Costa Rica was fantastic! We were so pleased with your travel service we cannot say enough good things. All of our transfers went so smooth and it was so nice to have it taken care of and not have to think about it. Every phone call to check in and remind of departure times were courteous and we appreciated all of the details being taken care of. Our hotels were great, we are so glad we went with the recommended hotels. I did see some of the other hotel options while we were there and they did not look as nice so I am glad that we did that upgrade. Arenal Springs was beautiful and I think my favorite of the hotels with such a beautiful view and nice comfortable room but all of the rooms were great. I have always been against tour-type trips because I like to explore on my own, but Swiss Travel service had the perfect level of involvement in our trip and made it so effortless to enjoy ourselves. The shuttles were all clean and comfortable, the drivers were friendly and helpful. I also cannot say enough how much I enjoyed working with April Stiles, she was my contact in planning and was so helpful and kind answering questions so quickly and thoroughly. I have already recommended the website to several friends and our photos were enough to convince a good friend to use your services for her upcoming honeymoon. The trip exceeded our expectations and I will be using Latindestinations.com again in the future for trips for sure. Thank you!

We had an excellent trip - everything went exactly as planned from the beginning where we were met at the airport to the very end where we had to be at the airport by 7:00 am requiring a driver to come at around 3:30am. In all cases, the drivers were courteous and showed up early. The hotels were great. We loved Costa Rica! Thanks.

I`m glad you asked about our vacation -- I`ve been meaning to contact you for a few days. This vacation was a honeymoon, and my wife and I could not have been more pleased. The e-mail delivery of the vouchers kept things simple, and your website was the only site I found that let me customize our time in Costa Rica in the manner we desired. A representative from Swiss Travel met us at the airport and took us straight to the resort. The Swiss Travel folks at Paradisus confirmed our transport and reservations at Arenal Nayara and Grano de Oro in San Jose. Both transports were fantastic. The drivers were on-time, friendly and both took us to a few "scenic" places on our way to the hotels. The transport and reservations were all as promised, and simply required the vouchers which we had printed. Paradisus was beautiful, and the service and food at Grano de Oro was some of the best either of us had experienced. However, the best experience was at Arenal Nayara. The location, rooms and staff were all world-class. We will definitely return to Arenal, and will use your services again! Many thanks for your simple, friendly and honest services. We have been very impressed.

Hi, Veronica was my agent that help me planned the group trip (10 people) to Costa Rica for 1 week. The planning process was smooth. The website was easy to navigate and easy to use. Veronica was very accommodating, especially because our group had some variations (like extra nights, different flights, etc.). During the trip, all the transfers, tours, hotels, air, tourguides etc. ran very smoothly. The Doubletree Hilton in San Jose was the best hotel during our stay. The Arenal Paraiso was decent. The suites in Bahia del Sol was good. Overall a great trip. I would highly recommend the trip and also Latin Destinations to others. Thank you!

My trip to Costa Rica was nice but quite rainy. The transfers all went to according to schedule. Each time the driver was there to pick us us on time as scheduled and they were all courteous and professional. The Hotels were great. Both the Grano de Oro and Tabacon Resort exceeded and/or meet expectations. The staff at all three hotels were wonderful. The Tamarindo Diria went above the call of duty when we found ourselves stranded during a severe rainstorm about an hour away. The manager on duty sent a car to rescue us from a gas station and for that we are eternally gratefully. All in all we would recommend all of the providers that provided services to us.

The gentleman from Latin Destinations met us at the airport and he was so nice and helpful. He exchanged our vouchers and answered all of the questions we bombarded him with. The Tabacon was gorgeous and we felt like royalty. It was the best part of my trip. I wish I would have scheduled one more day there but it is expensive. The food here was a little expensive but you can always take a taxi for $8.00 to the little town of La fortuna for a few meals. We loved the hotel staff and the hot springs. The Barcelo in Tamarindo was a nice resort. The food was all inclusive and very good. Everyone at the hotel was very nice and helpful. I loved walking down the street to where the monkeys live. The wild monkeys are just a short distance from the hotel. I would recommend both hotels. At the last minute we arranged some transfers with Tamarindo Shuttle and they were great. We dont speak much spanish and have never been to Costa Rica before so they took real good care of us. The owner Juan and Linda the US contact person were the nicest and most caring people.

Hey wanted to give you some feedback. Overall i would say the vacations was excellent. I was a little worried about the transfers, but all turned out better than expected. We were met at the San Jose airport by Swiss travel, and exchanged some vouchers, and were escorted to our driver to our hotel in San Jose. After that everything went smooth. transfers to Arenal Springs were timely and I was expecting a Spanish speaking driver only, but Jorge with Swiss travel spoke excellent English and gave us his insight on Costa Rica along the way. Arenal Springs is an excellent resort. Swiss travel picked us up for our two tours (Sky Trek & Tabacon Hot Springs) Transfer to Tamrindo was timely although a bit of a boring drive (5 hours), if I had to do it again, I`d hop on the Nature air flight from Arenal to Tamarindo. Jarden de Eden Hotel was nice. Very centrally located where you can walk to everywhere, which is what I liked. I originally booked Cal Luna Hotel, (but it was full) and I didn`t see it during out walks, so I was happy with the location. Transfer to the Liberia airport, there was a mix up and they driver was 40 minutes early, but no problems, as he waited. All in all, I would recommend latindestinations to anyone that asked about your company. Your site was the only one I could find, where you could book online a choice of hotels, airfare, day excursions, and transfers without going thru a typical travel agent, and definately saved us some money over your competitors.
