General facility

La Quinta is a small family-owned lodge located in one of the richest areas of the country for Birdwatching. The diversity of the lowland bird-life is impressive. There are more than 400 species of birds, including Sunbittern, oropendola, motmot, trogons, umbrella birds, fruit crows, jacamars, tinamous, stripe-breasted and black throated wrens, 50% of the species found in Costa Rica. Adding to the variety of birds, the mountains, plains, volcanoes, lakes, rivers, forests, fruit farms, and cattle ranches form a colorful diverse mosaic in this region.

You can also enjoy delicious food at the restaurant where you will be served rice, beans, vegetables and wonderful tropical fruits and juices. The bar and lounge are next to the dining room with comfortable cushioned Rattan furniture for you to relax in and unwind after enjoying your meal.
