Located on a narrow strip of land between the Caribbean Sea and the Tortuguero lagoon. It has direct access to the beach.
Laguna is a small cozy lodge, designed especially for the complete enjoyment of the mystic marvels of Tortuguero National Park. With direct access to the beach where you can enjoy the crystal blue waters and during the appropriate season observe the egg laying and hatching of the green turtle and several other marine turtle species. Also offered at the lodge is access to the various, smaller affluents within the National Park where you will be surrounded by exuberant flora and fauna and 200-feet tall trees.
The 14-acres of gardens have the Caribbean on one side with lagoons and canals on the other. A large bar overlooks the water; the huts feature hammocks, a beautiful swimming pool with a hydro-massage waterfall and another bar by the pool decorated with exotic hardwoods.

The Hotel features 52 comfortable wooden-rooms built of old almond wood, private bathrooms with hot water, ceiling fans and a small shared verandah.
