My husband and I were extremely satisfied with the service that your website provided through your local provider. They contacted us during our stay to make sure that everything was going smoothly and to provide support, if necessary. Very impressed with this group! Your local provider agent met us at the airport and confirmed our itinerary and explained everything to us. All of our transfers went smoothly and on schedule. The drivers were all very personable and helpful. Our first hotel in Arenal, Arenal Nayara Hotel and Gardens, was stunning. They treated us very well, even providing us with a small cake to celebrate our 25th anniversary. The food was delicious and we would be more than happy to return there one day and recommend it to others. This was our favorite place we stayed due to the beauty of the facility and view from our deck. Our next destination was in Manuel Antonio at the La Mansion Inn. Once again, the service was wonderful and our accommodations were even upgraded!!! We loved the staff, the breakfasts, and the shuttle that they provided several times a day to the beach area was appreciated and saved on taxi fees. We would recommend this hotel as well. Your local provider picked up our large bag and transferred it to our final destination since we were travelling to a remote location and the flights had a more restrictive weight limit. Our bag was waiting at the hotel in San Jose upon our arrival. Our final destination was on the Osa Peninsula at the Aguila de Osa Inn. Beautiful setting, delicious food, friendly, knowledgeable staff with lots of activities to choose from. High humidity made sleeping a bit uncomfortable since our room was a center room with no cross ventilation. It is the rainforest though and we were aware that AC was not available. Next time would request a corner room. Would also recommend this Inn, however. Having made our transfer options in advance, this made this leg of our trip easy to make despite its remote location. All transfers were right on time with no glitches. Our final hotel, the Hotel Grano de Oro , was beautiful. However, the staff warned against going out at night due to personal safety concerns. We appreciated their honesty. We never felt unsafe at any of our other destinations. Though the hotel was nice, we probably would not return to San Jose because this made us uncomfortable.

My sister and I had a great trip and would recommend Costa Rica to anyone. Overall we were pleased with our accomodations, transfers and tours. And generally found the website helpful. Particularly appreciated the agents who helped me, Brenda Herrara and the lady who stepped in while Brenda was away. There are some specifics that were a problem but they were able to be worked out. I had understood that all transfers were covered but found out( luckily) that we did not have a transfer to the Airport from the La Mariposa Hotel. When I realized after checking that we did not have a transfer I called your local provider but they could not help since it was not on the itinarary. I guess both your website and I missed that. Did we pay for a tranfer? Will it be refunded? At most hotels we had vouchers brought for our tours but again at the LaMariposa there was no voucher and only thru the efforts of the Hotel desk did we find out the time etc. again avoiding a big problem.

My only other concern was the Hotel in San Jose. The very beautiful Hotel Alta. I had understood it was in the downtown historic area and we would be able to walk about and explore. Not the case. I would not have booked it had I realized this. Each hotel we did stay in was beautiful and would recommend without hesitation. The Manoa, Lapa Rios and LaMariposa all exceeded expectations. The tours at Manoa were exceptional and good people at Lapa Rios as well. I would definitely recommend your website to friends. Hope to hear something re the problems we did experience. Thank you.
