| Day 5 - Monday Itinerary - aboard MV Galapagos Legend: Route A: Afternoon sail towards Santa Cruz Island. Dry landing and visit to the Highlands to find a natural reserve of giant tortoises, then continue to Pit Craters, a great place to spot Vermilion Flycatcher. Route C: Wet Landing and visit Bachas Beach for a chance to spot flamingo ponds with iguanas, coastal birds, Darwin finches, mockingbirds, and gulls, as well as interesting native and endemic vegetation, red and black mangroves, salt bushes, and much more. |

Day 6 - Tuesday itinerary - aboard MV Galapagos Legend: Route A: Wet landing at Egas Port to take a nice walk along the coast to find sea birds, coastal and migratory birds; includes an optional visit to the Salt Mines in Santiago where you can observe the two species of sea lions: Fur 'seals' and Galapagos Sea Lion. In the afternoon, continue for a dry landing at Bartolome Island to admire the best views of the Galapagos, including fascinating geological formations such as Pinnacle Rock, the most photographed site of the islands. Great snorkeling opportunities off a golden beach with penguins and sea lions. Route C: After a dry landing, morning visit to South Plaza located in Plaza Island. Land and marine iguanas can be seen as well as Swallow-tailed gull and sea lion colonies. Enjoy beautiful views of the nearby cactus forests with a chance to see the Galapagos hybrid iguana, unique in the world. In the afternoon, continue to Santa Fe. Wet landing. Hiking in Santa Fe can be either intermediate or high intensity. Special sighting opportunities include the endemic Santa Fe Land Iguana, the tallest cactus species, and a Palo Santo forest. |

| Day 7: Wednesday: GALAPAGOS CRUISE This is your third day cruising around the Galapagos Islands. Again, your itinerary will depend on the date your trip started and the cruise operating the route. |

Day 7 - Wednesday itinerary - aboard MV Galapagos Legend: Route A: Morning dry landing in Santa Cruz Island to visit Dragon Hill, place to spot the two species of iguanas: marine and land. Walk through a Palo Santo and giant Opuntia cactus forest,beautiful landscape from the highest point. The forest is home to mockingbirds, Darwin's finches, Yellow Warblers and Galapagos Doves. Continue to North Seymour in the afternoon. North Seymour is one of the few places in the Galapagos where you will encounter frigate birds nesting and mating in the wild. Route C: After a wet landing, morning visit to Pitt Point and Islet located in San Cristobal Island. This is one of the few places on the Islands where it is possible to see the three booby species together: Nazca, Blue-footed, Red-footed, also featuring Magnificent and Great Frigatebirds, a large sea lion colony great spots for dinghy rides and snorkeling, with a range of sea birds. In the afternoon, wet landing at Witch Hill 'Cerro Brujo', also in San Cristobal Island. With beautiful white sand beach, Witch Hill is a great place for snorkeling. Find along a beautiful lagoon where migratory bird species visit including Black-necked Stilts, Ruddy Turnstones, Whimbrels and White-cheeked Pintail. |

| Day 8: Thursday: GALAPAGOS CRUISE - QUITO Fourth and final day cruising around the Galapagos Islands. Your Galapagos itinerary is linked to your trip start date and the cruise operating your route. |

| Day 8 - Thursday itinerary - aboard MV Galapagos Legend: Route A: In the morning you will go straight to Baltra airport to catch your flight to Quito. Route C: Dry landing in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, capital of the Galapagos Islands (San Cristobal Island). Visito to Cerro Colorado - Galapaguera, Breeding Center to learn about the National Park's conservation programs and opportunity to see Chatham Giant Tortoises in captivity. Last stop is the port village, have a drink or shop for arts and crafts and other souvenirs. After the visit, transportation to San Cristobal airport to catch return flight to Quito. All routes: Flight from Galapagos to Quito takes approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival in Quito, you will be transferred to your hotel for overnight at Hotel Quito or similar option. |
