Day 1: Quito
Arrival in Quito and Transfer to your hotel. Overnight at Hotel Quito or similar option.

Day 2: Quito
Colonial City Tour; bustling streets and squares of the largest historical old town in the Americas; a multi-ethnic, artistic and cultural heritage destination. Overnight at Hotel Quito or similar option. (B)

Day 3: Quito - Otavalo - Chaski Antawa Train - Karanki community
Visit Otavalo for an arts and crafts shopoing adventure; drive to Ibarra and catch the Chaski Antawa train that departs from Ibarra to Salinas; cross sugar cane plantations, magical landscapes, tunnels and bridges that span steep canyons, ridges and patchwork fields. Enjoy lunch at the Salinas community restaurant. Then drive to Magdalena, the Karanki community inhabits a paradise lost in time amongst llamas and condors, peaceful lagoons and the pacthwork slopes of Imbabura Volcano. Stay overnight in a comfortable room with private facilities and hot water, taste a homemade Andean meal and wake up to the magnetic landscapes. Discover the natural realm of this hidden mountain niche through a series of optional activities such as horseback riding, mountain biking, or hiking at extra cost. (B,L,D)

Day 4: Otavalo Market surroundings
The tour includes landscapes of towering volcanoes, the crater lagoon of Cuicochoa, and a visit to Cotacachi, a village specializing in leather goods. Back to Quito.(B)

Day 5: Quito - Cotopaxi - Banos - Riobamba
On route, admire Cotopaxi, the highest active volcano on Earth; arrive in Banos, visit many beatiful waterfalls in and around town. Drive south and overnight in Riobamba.

Day 6: Riobamba - Devil's Nose train ride - Ingapirca Ruins - Cuenca
Start your day with a drive through some of the most picturesque indigenous areas of the country.
Take the Devil's Nose train ride, continue your way south to the Ingapirca Ruins, then arrive in Cuenca. If the train is not available the rout will be done by bus.(B)

Day 7: Cuenca - El Cajas National Park - Guayaquil
Cuenca city tour; drive to El Cajas National Park, known for its beatiful landscapes and more than 200 lagoons, including the famous Toreadora. Drive to Guayaquil-.(B)

Day 8-11: Deluxe Cruise MV Galapagos Legend
Domestic flight to Galapagos. All-inclusive 3-night deluxe cruise.
