Day 1: Arrival to Antigua

Guests are met and transferred to Antigua. Overnight in Antigua.

Day 2: Architecture and History Tour and transfer to Lake Atitlan

Guests will take a half day walking tour of Antigua. The tour takes in the main square, Palace, Cathedral, La Merced Church and San Francisco Church. Entrances to these sites are included. Afternoon transfer to Lake Atitlan - 2.5 hr. Overnight at Lake Atitlan. Breakfast included. EASY

Day 3: Chichi Market

Today guests transfer approx. 1 hr to the famous market at Chichi. Time for shopping in this fabulous craft market and an opportunity to see Maya rituals being performed in the Catholic Church before transferring to Guatemala City Airport in time to catch the early evening flight to Flores. In Flores you will be met and transferred to your hotel in the rainforest. (Trf. time depends on hotel). Overnight at Tikal Area. Breakfast and lunch included. MODERATE

Day 4: Tikal

Today guests transfer to Tikal National park to explore the amazing UNESCO protected Mayan Temple site of Tikal where huge Mayan temples rise above the jungle canopy and monkeys and tropical birds are abundant in the surrounding rainforest. After lunch guests have time to relax and refresh. Guests will fly back to Guatemala City and transfer to their hotel. Overnight in Guatemala City. Breakfast and lunch inlcuded. MODERATE-STRENUOUS

Day 5: Transfer Out
