Trip Summary
2 nights in Rio de Janeiro

Rio de Janeiro is the most visited city in the southern hemisphere, owing at least partially to the 2,000,000 people that pour into its streets, hotels, clubs and restaurants each year for Rio's legendary Carnival celebration, but any time is a good time to visit Rio, and revelers flock to this exhilarating city to enjoy its stunning vistas, perfect weather, sizzling nightlife, and fabled white sand urban beaches with alluring names like Copacabana, and Ipanema, that evoke samba music, and a uniquly Brazilian sensuality.

Other famous landmarks here include the giant statue of Christ the Redeemer ('Cristo Redentor') perched at the top of Corcavado Mountain, and Rios's most recognizable natural monument, Sugarloaf mountain (Pão de Açúcar) with its network of cable cars straddling the ocean and the Baia de Guanabara.

Rio has been selected to host, both the final match of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, and the 2016 Summer Olympics, the first South American country to ever be so honored, so in a city already passionate about sports, especially futball, one could assume that the parties have already started and will continue through 2016, unless that is Brazil wins the World Cup. In that case, all predicitions are off.

Rio de Janeiro is without question a city that people just love to visit, and the reasons for this are as inexhaustible as things to do in this electrifying city, With four and five star accommodations lining Rio's beachfront strips, and stylish boutiques available in its historic Harbor District, Rio make a perfect centaral hub for connections to and from just about all of Brazil's spectacular destinations. Our featured Rio itineraries, can help show you how to link the "Marvelous City," as it is know in Brazil, with the rest of this remarkable country. Samba anyone?
2 nights in Iguassu Falls

Recognized by many as the most beautiful waterfalls in the world, the Iguassu Falls, which straddles the border between Brazil, and Argentina is a spectacular natural wonder that is shared by the two countries, and is one of the most popular destinations in all of South America.

Second only to Niagara Falls in flow, Iguassu is actually 275 individual falls, and can be accessed from many more vantage points than either Niagara or Victoria falls in Africa. Iguassu's unique shape creates spellbinding views with dramatic accessible walkways, that afford visitors unsurpassed panoramic vistas.

Although the falls are the main attraction here, the surrounding tropical forests feature stunning varieties of ferns, orchids, begonias, butterflies, exotic birds, and fascinating animal species. Iguazú National Park which encompasses the falls, occupies 212 square miles of tropical forest habitat, and was designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984.

Iguassu Falls is an awe inspiring Brazilian destination, and we have created a number of featured itineraries that can help you include this amazing spectacle in your vacation plans, combined with other spectacular Brazilian destinations.

It was great...I`ve already recommended your site to my brother for his vacation plans

Comments on Brazil vacation. Arena Copacabana hotel in Rio was excellent; clean, very modern, good breakfast and a gym and pool on the roof. Room with an ocean view of Copacabana beach. There was an organizational issue with my guide and tour on the first day. That was corrected and the tour guide was excellent. New car, perfect English and knew the Brazil law that being over 65 lets you cut all tourist lines. Christ the Redeemer and Sugar Loft were excellent, when you don`t have to wait in line. A private guide is the only way to go; they know the short cuts and special things like there is a rain forest in the middle of Rio. There was a major problem in the flight from Rio to Iguassu Falls. The company purchased a ticket for the day prior to my flight. I purchased another ticket for that day and was lucky to get on that flight. Bill submitted to the company for all the extras was refunded to my credit card.. Hotel Das Cataratas in the middle of the park and close to the falls was exceptional. Upgraded to a larger room. The hotel personnel couldn`t do enough for you. The boat ride into the falls was exciting and wet. Iguassu falls is an experience you will never forget. I viewed the falls from both the Brazil and Argentina sides; out standing. Again, I had a private guide and driver which made it a wounder full experience. The trip into Paraguay to visit the Itaipu dam was an eye opener due to its size. Overall I recommend this company and tour.

Our vacation was wonderful. Hotels were great and conveniently located. Transfers went precisely as it was set. People were very nice and professional. We would recommend your services to people we know. We would have you book our next trip to S. America and elsewhere, as well.

We had a great trip, thank you very much to your agency and Veronica for sorting out the details and making all the arrangements. All of the tour guides were great and everything worked out smoothly. The only hitch we came across was at Iguazu hotel (Sheraton) where they didn`t realize we had already paid the entrance fee to the park but otherwise everyone was hospitable and we had a great time. I am planning to go back to S. America so I will use your services again and recommend you to others. Thanks much!

I would recommend this website to anyone. It was easy to use and comprehensive in being able to select options and tours. It was one of the reasons we selected your website. I felt everyone from the tour company, to the tour guides, and the hotel staffs were friendly and helpful. Brazil was a great destination for us and we enjoyed the week. Thank you for making this a great vacation.

Thank you for booking our trip. It was very convenient. We had a wonderful time. The only negative feedback I have is TAM inter-state airlines. The flights within Brazil were ALWAYS delayed. And that`s fine, however, we weren`t in Brazil for that long so we had no time to waste. Also, on a sidenote, they lost my luggage and have been fairly unreachable and quite unfriendly. And actually out of all of your hotels, our favorite was the Hotel Banderantes in Copacabana. It was very quite with almost no Americans. Everyone was extremely nice and personal. This hotel was our favorite by far. It also included the best breakfast of all the hotels we stayed in(many more juice and pastry options). Rio and Brazil itself are beautiful and our only regret is that we had more time. I would have recommended to stay 2 days in the Iguassu Falls to gain adequate coverage of Brazil and Argentinian side. However, you made our trip very convenient and a reality. Thank you very much for memories I will have forever! Best regards.
