Trip was great. Hotels were excellent -- Marriott Plaza in Buenos Aires and the Sheraton in Iguazu Falls. Buenos Aires is a beautiful city with a wide variety of interesting neighborhoods and sites. Great food. Fantastic wine. January was a perfect time to go because the weather was peerless. Highs in the low-mid-eighties, sunny, no humidity. Iguazu Falls was astonishing. Incredibly beautiful. Although it was high season, we didn`t really experience crowds. Truly one of the wonders of the world. Niagara Falls times 10, but in the middle of an almost primeval national park instead of a highly touristed city. And instead of two falls, you have dozens. Staying at the Sheraton was an excellent decision. The hotel is on the grounds of the park so we could just walk down to the falls rather than having to take a bus to the town. We could view the falls from our room and the sound of the falls was everpresent in a good way. The food there was mostly undistinguished (other than a terrific Peruvian Fish Soup) and a bit on the expensive side (but still lower than comparable food in the US), but the facility was excellent (including the gym), as was the service, and the location cannot be beat. The transfers all worked out fine except for our initial arrival. The driver wasn`t there and I had to call your local operator. As a general improvement I would suggest that you have the transfer companies contact the customers the day before to confirm the pickup time. I had to confirm our transfers by phone or through the hotel. However, it all worked out. Your website worked out okay too. I think the process of selecting the flights could be greatly improved, however. Also I had to speak with an agent to get flights that didn`t have uncomfortably tight connection and that flew into and out of the same New York airport. I suggest that you allow the client to select the flights by airline as well as price. Thank you for a great trip.

We had an amazing trip! Everything we planned with your website went great! The guide who picked us up from the airport was the nicest lady and ended up letting us meet her Argentina family! She really did treat us like we were family, and we truly appreciated. We will definitely be keeping in touch. The hotels were amazing. When chosing on-line you`re never sure what the site considers a 3 or 4 star hotel. Our hotels were better than we could`ve ever expected! They were gorgeous with amazing views of the city. The intermittent flight and hotel to Iguazu Falls was simple and easy. I`m so glad that I found your website and I would definitely recommend it to friends. There were multiple changes or concerns about the initial order, but it was very easy to get in touch with someone over the phone to straighten out all of the details. This is by far the best customer-oriented company that I`ve ever purchased from. Thank you so much for all of your help in planning our wondeful trip!!

Our trip to Argentina was everthing we wanted, and more! As for the English speaking guides, they were excellent. They were both totally fluent in English, even to pick up on idioms that we used. They both were very knowledgeable and shared all types of information relating to our experiences, the locals, the environment, etc. One `transfer` with an English speaking guide to the airport in Iguazu did not take place; apparently there was an issue at the last minute which left us without anyone on that transfer(we have been told that we will recieve a reimbursement for this). The driver however did very well. After bringing our baggage inside the airport, he found an employee to give us instructions in English, and assured that we were in the correct line. Our tours, both led by Lilliana Sanchez in Buenos Aires were great. She covered everything she could think of for us, accommodated our requests, gave us additional suggestions, marked our maps with the locations of interest and recommended restaurants (all of which were excellent!) and was able to adjust her agenda to fit our personalities and preferences. At Iguazu, Teo was our guide. He had a good feel for just how fast to cover things, how much time to leave for us to take photos, gave background information, and has such an easy-going personality, quite suited for his work. As for the hotels: At the Vain Hotel in Palermo Soho we received warm, personal attention, efficiently. The personnel were all very friendly, even those who didn`t speak English. We were very happy with the service, and breakfast was excellent!! However, being a boutique, it was small. We would have preferred two beds, instead of the one. The Moreno Hotel in San Telmo was quite unique with its old metal gate elevator and eclectic decor. Beds were comfortable. However, breakfast was blaze. And, the coffee disappointing. In Buenos Aires and Iguazu, in the Vain Hotel, every cafe and all restaurants, every order I had of coffee was remarkably good, except at the Moreno Hotel. In your general website information, I believe you may have referred to the $140 reciprocity tax required upon entry to Buenos Aires. However, it had not caught our attention ahead of time. We would suggest that you make that evident to everyone as they will have to pay it in addition to their tour package. We had a great trip! I would easily recommend you to my friends. Our trip was amazing. We were very please with the hotels, both in BA and Iguazu - and especially pleased with our guide, Max. He was very helpful in booking tours, suggesting restaurants, and letting us in on BA`s beautiful culture and way of life. I would highly recommend your website to anyone considering traveling to So. Other than a few tiny glitches, everything was great and I would use your web site again and would certainly recommend you. Claudia met us at the airport and was knowledgeable, warm, helpful, and prepared (key points circled on a map). There was an accident on the highway and she got the driver to exit so instead of sitting stuck in traffic, she led him to our hotel through interesting neighborhoods we wouldn`t otherwise see. The hotel was wonderful - spacious, beautiful, great location and the staff very friendly and helpful. Leaving for Iguazu, the airline switched two of us to the next flight without saying a word about it. Luckily, we spotted the error and were able to get the third passenger switched to our flight and left a message for Claudia to have her contact the driver at Iguazu to alert him to our later arrival. The hotel was very nice and within walking distance of the town; transfers were prompt and courteous. Back in BA, the Art Hotel had us arriving and departing the 15th and 16th instead of the 16th and 17th. I had them call the number on the confirmation and your representative was able to get things straightened out with the hotel and reschedule the transfer to the airport the following day. The Art Hotel`s staff is efficient, but very stern. Perhaps it is in the service of security, but in all interactions there was an accusatory tone. Although they were storing our luggage until late that afternoon and would have had recourse had there been a problem, when we were leaving to meet someone, I was detained while they had someone check our room - long enough that I had to send my son out ahead. The loveliness of the hotel, wonderful breakfast and location are able to make up for this and I would recommend

We had a very enjoyable trip to Argentina. First of all your website is so user friendly for customizing and booking flights, hotels and the tours. Ms. Gisele Lazaro who coordinated and confirmed our booking was very professional and friendly on the phone and prompt in sending us confirmation via email and following up with phone calls. Upon arrival to the airport at Argentina we were greeted by a nice English speaking lady tour guide Claudia from your local operator. She was so friendly and helpful, provided us with maps highlited with recommended sites to visit. The 4 star hotels that we stayed at - Americas Tower, Ceasar Park Silver and Esturion Iguazu were excellent choices and I would recommend to anybody traveling to Buenos Aires and the Falls. The experience of seeing the Falls in Iguazu was something special and breath taking. We enjoyed the sightseeing in Buenos Aires, the open markets, restaurants, city tour and especially the 3 tango shows with dinner - Senior Tango, Tango Madero and Carlos Gardel. Also we enjoyed the fast speed cruise to Colonia, Uruguay, where we had the city tour of this historic town, river walk, lunch in an outdoor restaurant surrounded with shaded trees and tour of historic buildings. We missed Boca Junior classic soccer game since it was sold out. Next visit! Overall, we had a very enjoyable trip. You folks made this trip possible for us with your user friendly website and bargain prices. We would recommend your website to relatives and friends and will definitely contact you with our future travel needs to Mexico, as well as Central and South American destinations. We had a wonderful vacation. Our hotels were nice and comfortable with good helpful staff. The included breakfasts were excellent. We had very competent and friendly tour guides both in Buenos Aires and in Iguazu. They met us promptly at the airport and helped us plan our days to the fullest. The Iguazu Falls were amazing. Although we had seen many pictures and movies about them beforehand, we were dumbfounded by their beauty, the landscape and the wildlife. The trails are easy and so pituresque. It might be helpful for tourists going there to know that it is not necessary to go to Brazil to see both sides of the falls. The Argentinian side is gorgeous, and is the BEST side. You also can take a boat tour which brings you right under the falls. From the boat, you can see both the Brazilian and the Argentinian side. It`s a great ride! But you need to be able to walk up a couple of steep flights of stairs to come back from the boats. You DO NOT need a visa from Brazil to take this boat tour. Thanks again for helping us with our Argentinian vacation!

Originally I was apprehensive that the hotel in Buenos Aires was changed to Melia Hotel which was in the location of the city that I wanted to be at. I am now a big fan of staying in overseas hotels that are not international like Marriott, Sheraton, etc but domestic chains in the country or region. Melia was an excellent 4 star hotel, service was excellent since it was a midsize vs Sheraton Liberator which is way too large to get excellent service and caters to Americans; no local feel to it. Best of all was the tour guide George who meet us at Buenos Aires International Airport, provided the interface at the hotel during registration at Melia and Sheraton Liberator, took us to domestic airport in Buenos Aires and told us where to check in and took us the gate area, and was invaluable when he took us the pier to board the cruise ship. At the pier, it was total chaos but George knew the procedure and made it effortless as compared to many other passengers who were there on their own struggling to find out what to do. George was excellent and made all the transfer smooth and effortless. The transfer service at Iguazu Falls was good and simpler than in Buenos Aires so it was acceptable and smooth as well. The hotels Iguazu Falls are not comparable to hotels in Buenos Aires with the same rating.

Although we only used your web site for a portion of our trip to South America, everything worked out great. Victor Rincon, at LD, did everything we`d asked him to do; all the transfers were prompt (very important to us) and courteous; the hotel was very nice; the prices were reasonable and there were no hidden costs. We`re planning another trip to S. America, will definitely be looking at LD for help and will recommend them to others

Our vacation to Buenos Aires and Iguazu Falls was fabulous thanks to you guys. The ART HOTEL was one of the best hotels we`ve stayed in. We like these small, charming hotels and prefer them to the large, nondescript ones. Great place. Everything was wonderful. We just had one tiny glitch and that was when we returned from Iguazu Falls to BA our English speaking transfer guide did not accompany us back to the hotel. He left us with the driver who could not speak English. He apparently was waiting to greet another couple and perhaps overbooked himself. Anyway, it worked out fine (although we were a little concerned at first). Nonetheless, we will recommend your web site to anyone traveling to South or Central America (Actually, we already have). The transfer guide Mathias was especially great. He saw us to the airport to fly to Iguazu. The hotel staff was fabulous especially Carolyn. Thanks!

Our vacation was wonderful. Argentina is a fantastic country...the people are amazing, the food absolutely delicious, and BA is so cosmopolitan. All the flights and transfers went perfectly. We even took an earlier flight back from Iguazu and called the tour company when we returned to BA and our driver showed up within 15 minutes (2 hours earlier than he was originally scheduled to). The Americas Towers is a wonderful hotel. The people are super nice, it is incredibly clean and comfortable, and has a wonderful buffet breakfast. The only disappointing part of the trip was our experience in the Esturion Iguazu. The hotel lobby and restaurant are incredibly nice, but the rooms are clearly older and in need of renovation. Even more troubling was that the doors were heavy and slammed all night, which did not make for good sleep given the thin walls. Also, we had to move rooms immediately upon arrival because we were next to the elevator which was very old and loud and constantly making noises. Finally, the rest of hte hotel was booked full by two high school rugby teams in town for a competition, which meant a hundred screaming teenagers all night. Unfortunately, the hotel had little ability to control that. Regardless of all of this, the hotel staff were nice and helpful. We only did one tour and it was the private tango lessons and trip to the melonga. I HIGHLY recommend this for anyone who likes to dance and wants a truly authentic local experience. Super fun and worth every penny. Argentina was wonderful and Latin Destinations was a pleasure to work with. I would recommend this travel company to anybody.

We were impressed by architecture, culture, arts, and especially by friendly and sincere people. We cannot find words to describe beauty of Iguassu. We made more than a hundred shots with our camera and they all are great, like pictures used in calendars! Senior Tango is the best show we ever saw: dances, music, singers and a great finale! - we ourselves became patriots of Argentina. We wish all the best to the people and the country.
