Trip Summary
1 nights in San Pedro Sula

San Pedro is blessed with excellent access via the most modern paved highways in Central America, has some of the best hotel infrastructure in the country and many attractive sites are within short distances from this industrial capital of Honduras. Don Pedro de Alvarado founded it with the name of "Villa de San Pedro de Puerto Caballos", and within the next 5 years was know as San Pedro Sula, with the name Sula deriving from the local dialect Usula, meaning "valley of birds".
2 nights in Copan

Copan combines the charm of a colonial town with cobblestone streets and friendly inhabitants, and the magnificence of the most important Archaeological Park of the country: The Ancient Mayan City of Copan and the Mayan Sculpture Museum. It is located in the jungles of northwestern Honduras, a three-hour drive from San Pedro Sula. In Copan, the Mayas reached their most refined sculpture, leaving the longest hieroglyphic text, and the most fascinating collection of stelares.
2 nights in La Ceiba - Pico Bonito

Located on the northern Caribbean coast of Honduras, La Ceiba is the third largest city of the country. With a reputation as a party town, La Ceiba holds an annual carnival on the third Saturday of May and nearly doubles its size for the event, as it attracts over 200,000 tourists from all over the world. Fishing, as well as exports of bananas, pineapple, and grapefruit, are essential to the economy of the area. The mountain Pico Bonito provides an impressive backdrop to the city.
4 nights in Roatan

Thirty-five miles north of Honduras, on the Caribbean coast lies the submerged Sierra de Omoa mountain range, fountainhead to the verdant jungle islands of Roatan, Guanaja, Utila and a jeweled patchwork of smaller islands known as The Bay Islands of Honduras. They are tucked away from the mainstream, and remain today as some of the Caribbean's most beautiful, pristine and tranquil islands. This is a diver's paradise, boasting unspoiled reefs that are among the healthiest in the Caribbean.

Honduras

Honduras' slow pace, natural charm, and low-profile tourism make it particularly appealing to travelers who enjoy getting off the beaten track. Beauty, magic, and traditions abound in the Mayan archaeological city of Copan, the Caribbean Coast, and the Bay Islands, a true haven for scuba diving and snorkeling enthusiasts.

Yes, I was hoping to get a chance to give some feedback. The last time I did a package deal I was really disappointed in the company I used and wasn`t that thrilled to do it again. I had never heard of you but I decided to take a chance because I liked the fact I could build my own trip. I expected the worse but what I got was one of my best trips ever. Everything that I was promised I got. Our transfer vans were always on time and even though the drivers didn`t speak English Jose and Leno were very pleasant and great drivers. All the hotels you provided were very nice. Even though I normally wouldn`t stay in San Pedro Sula the hotel was nice and we liked the location across from a busy park. The hotel in Copan Ruinas was excellent and the town itself became one of our all time favorite towns. What a charming place and we loved the people. Hired a guide for the whole day and did the ruins, Macaw mountain and the hot springs. One of the best traveling days we ever had. I wouldn`t recommend LaCeiba but I did like our hotel the Quinta Real. Beautiful hotel in a bad area and some of the front desk staff need to be a little more helpful but a nice choice of hotel just the same. We did a hike in Pico Bonita and then hired that guide for the rest of the day. Took the local bus and went to Sambo Creek. Another great day of traveling though it seems like I should have picked Tela instead? We switched your hotel in Roatan to Anthonys Key Resort because the purpose of the trip was to go back to that resort. It is absolute paradise and we love West End. You kept to the itinerary like clockwork and we always knew when and where we were going. The only minor complaint I would have is that I booked this trip with my girlfriend but we were never seated together on any of our flights. We were able to move around but there was no reason not to be together but that could have been American Airlines. We both loved this trip and we would use you again and recommend you. I would like to do Nicaragua through you though my girlfriend says I need to learn Spanish first. :) Jeffery L. Torrance, CA
