We got to our destinations on time as scheduled and it was a very easy process. The Hotel Manoa Arenal was a hit, as were the other hotels, though we probably wouldn`t stay at the Arenas del Mar. It was too expensive for what we got in general, though the location was lovely. We would definitely recommend this vacation to friends/family and are hoping to go back to Costa Rica again. My friend, Jeremy and I just recently returned from Costa Rica which we booked through your site. Everything was absolutely amazing! The hotels were clean, workers were very friendly, continental breakfast was great in every location. We stayed at Magic Mountain Hotel in La Fortuna, Hotel Montana in Monteverdge and The Falls in Manual Antonio. My favorite hotel was Hotel Montana in Monteverdge because of the view and nice staff. Our favorite restaurant was Novillito`s in La Fortuna, it was our best meal in Costa Rica. All of the tours we went on were extremely well planned, timed, and executed. The weather also turned out great. We went on the Volcano tour and Hot Springs in La Fortuna, the Hanging Bridge tour and Coffee/Chocolate tour in Monteverdge, the Canopy Tour and also Whitewater Rafting in Savegre Rio in Manuel Antonio. I have already recommended your site to my coworkers and would 100% recommend your company to any of my friends or family who will be traveling to Central America. I will also use your company again when I return to Costa Rica. It was a trip of a lifetime. It`s been 10 days since we returned, and I still can not stop thinking about all of our great experiences. The vacation was wonderful. It rained a lot of the time we were in Costa Rica but that didn`t stop us from enjoying it. The first day in San Jose was lovely - probably the nicest Holiday Inns I have stayed in and their breakfast spread was `muy bueno". The transfer to Arenal Volcano was easy and smooth. Arenal was just breath taking. Our hotel overlooked the volcano and it was a majestic site to wake up to. We did lots of great activities here like zip-lining in the rain which was the experience of a lifetime. The hotel itself was also very nice. Monteverde was beautiful and the hotel we stayed in Belmar Hotel was probably my favorite. Simple but so very attentive and with great views over the cloudforest. At Monteverde we went canyoning which was also an experience I will never forget in addition to the very educational and fun El Trappiche Tour. There was a bit of confusion regarding the changed time for transfer to Manuel Antonio which resulted in use having to rush out of hour hotel an hour early missing their delicious breakfast spread. Manuel Antonio was a good beach town and we liked Hotel Yara Plaza. Manuel Antonio was probably the most touristy of the places we went to but we enjoyed the park and the public beach. On the whole this was one of the best vacations I have taken and I consider this money very well spent. Everything for the most part was run smoothly, we had individual attention and we plan to visit Costa Rica and Central America again sometime again in future with your company. Thank you. Our trip was fantastic! This was the second trip we took using your website, and we will take many more! We were picked up from the San Jose airport without a hitch! The hotels were great, too. Best of all, the drivers were friendly, timely, and considerate to stop halfway through the transfers for bathroom breaks. Our driver from San Jose to the Arenal Volcano area even offered to take us back to La Fortuna after checking into our hotels since he was driving back that way (saved us cab fares). We did 99% of the excursions you can do in Costa Rica, and I recommend them all! From a hike to Arenal Volcano, to a dip in the hot springs, to rappelling through waterfalls, to whitewater rafting, to zip lines, to ATV tours, to nigh hikes, to surf lessons, to searching for monkeys! Our vacation could not have been better. The hotels were wonderful, as well as the staff at each one. Everyone was helpful and happy. The tours were great. I was very impressed with the transfers. Never had to wait for them. They were always on time. Only complaint is that the transfer from Manuel Antonio to San Jose the guide texted for a good half hour and then fell asleep. Good thing the driver didnt. Other than that we enjoyed everyday. I would recommend you to others but I am a travel agent and you do not pay commissions. Thank you for a great trip.

We had an excellent trip thanks to your service. We were met as soon as we got off the plane and felt very comfortable and well taken care of. The first hotel was not particularly well located, although we had a very short amount of time there. The transfer to Arenal went very well. Our hotel in Arenal was nice, although the restaurant was not excellent and it was difficult to get transportation to other food. The transportation to Monteverde was adequate although the roads are quite difficult and required car sickness medication. Monteverde was beautiful and our hotel was pleasant. The staff was very helpful. There were no TVs or entertainment and as we were there during the rainy season, we had afternoons in our rooms with very little to do. Quepos was beautiful, our hotel was amazing and we will highly recommend it to our friends. All other transfers were fine. We had a wonderful Costa Rica experience with your company. The quality of hotels and service was far beyond our expectation and we would use the service again. Thank you so much!

Our trip to Costa Rica was very good organized.All booked events (transfers, tours, etc.) happened on time. Staff was very friendly. Recommended hotels were good. We enjoyed our vacation very much.

Sorry for the late reply, but it takes time to get organized after being so relaxed! The vacation was fantastic. Everything went according to clockwork. The Costa Rican-based agency that handled all the arrangements was extremely organized. When they said a driver would pick us up at a certain time, the driver was there five minutes ahead of schedule--always. The hotels were as they were represented--all good choices for us. The tours were all good, some better than others. A lot depends on the individual guide, but in general, they were all better than we could have done ourselves with a guidebook. We added two extra tours for ourselves, one in Arenal (bird watching--which introduced us to a new passion), and a tour of a family farm--sugar cane, coffee and bananas) in Monteverde Cloud Forest area. Both good and very worthwhile. There were perhaps two disappointments, but they were minor. The weather never cooperated, and we never saw the volcano Arenal. Apparently the minutes when the volcano does appear can be few and far between. Perhaps your website could mention this. There is still plenty to do in the area, and the hike on the lava fields is great whether or not you see the volcano`s top or not. The other disappointment was the staff at La Mariposa, our hotel in Manuel Antonio. The hotel itself has a stunning and commanding 270 degree view of the Pacific, perched as it is on the top of a mountain. The rooms were rather spartan--ok by me, but the staff was downright surly compared to the wonderfully helpful and engaging people at every other place we stayed. We ended up only eating breakfasts at the hotel because we waited for 15 minutes for a lunch menu on the day we arrived. (We were not impressed with the food, either, and there were so many fun and interesting places in the area.) The hotel is a good place to be in terms of getting around. There is a back dirt road down to the beach, and there are plenty of neat restaurants and bars within walking distance of the hotel. Well, this is probably more information than you wanted, but we thank you for coordinating this trip in a short time. We were very impressed with the coordination, professionalism and helpfulness of everyone involved. When the time for our morning departure was changed one morning, our tour guide told us about it the day before and that evening we also received a telephone call. We had about four telephone calls checking in with us and making sure all was ok. Thanks again. We would definitely use your service again

Our trip to Costa Rica was wonderful and all the arrangement made by Latin Destinations met or exceed our expectations. We will recommend this site to our friends and we will also use this site for future trips.

When we got to San Jose there was no transportation arranged from the airport to the Brittania Hotel. The Britannia was very nice and the driver from San Jose to La Fortuna was very nice and informative. The Montana de Fuego was excellent. The staff were outstanding and the room was amazing. The restaurant was a little pricey. The trip to the Cano Negro Reserve was excellent. The guides were great. We took a tour of the Arenal Park and Sylvia, our guide, knew everything we asked her and was very nice. The boat trip across Lake Arenal was a lot of fun and beautiful scenery. The road trip, however was a real pain. The driver was excellent though. In Monte Verde the Heliconia was ok. They put us in a beautiful room that was way up the hill with lots of stairs and no telephone. They were building a new room next door and it was very noisy, so we decided to move down closer to the Lobby and the room was fair. Some of the staff was excellent and some were down-right rude and unhelpful. We took a trip to the Selvatura park and Monte Verde Cloudforest. They were both excellent. The Hanging Bridge tour would have been much better with a guide, but we were not offered one. The Monte Verde Cloudforest guide was a Quaker and grew up playing in the park before it was made safe. He was great and very informative. Then our trip to Quepos was nice. The driver was very good. We got to the Si Como No and were so excited. It was wonderful. The Staff was fantastic and the property was exquisite. Our first day there we walked across the street for dinner and my wife fell on the way back across the street and injured her ankle. We knew it was broken, so the staff helped us get her to the local emergency room in Quepos. The medical care was very good and we were seen, evaluated, xrayed and casted and back on the street in less than an hour. The hospital staff for the most part didn`t speak much English and we didn`t speak much Spanish, but everyone was so helpful and gracious. And it didn`t cost us a dime. Thank you for socialized medicine. The doctor said my wife might have to have surgery since this was the 4th time she`s broken that ankle. The next day we spent trying to make arrangements to come home early. The Travel Insurance people were helpful, but I made the mistake of calling the US Airways people to get a flight home and that was terrible. They were rude and very unhelpful. I had to buy another ticket for myself, because they couldn`t/wouldn`t exchange my ticket. They exchanged my wifes, but they only had one First class ticket from Phoenix to Oakland and they wouldn`t make a direct exchange. As it turned out the person at the check in in Phoenix put me in First Class anyway so I had to spend an extra $1000 for nothing. I will never fly US Airways again. I have never gotten such bad service anywhere. During our stop in Phoenix we were waiting for a wheelchair for my wife and one of the Supervisors came on board to clean the airplane. My wife and I were still waiting for the wheelchair and he asked why she couldn`t walk to the gate to wait. I almost hit him. Never again. All in all our trip was wonderful, the people were superb and the country is beautiful. We will be going back again, but not on US Airways. Now I am trying to get some of my money back since we only stayed in Si Como No for two nights and missed 2 trips and the airline ticket money. I don`t remember the breakdown of the costs of Si Como No and the 2 trips we missed. Can you help with the costs? My memory is gone.
