Had an AMAZING trip full of non-stop adventure! This trip was well priced and travel team was professional and flexible with hotel changes. Hotel Paradise was the best hotel I`ve EVER stayed at. Elizier and team treated use like royalty, greeting us with lavender scented damp towels and fruity drinks. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. Alberto Serrano for horseback riding, Ramon for a tour guide, Aaron, Joshue and Maurcio from Mid-World Zip lining tours were all amazing; creating personalized experiences and lasting, beautiful memories. Everything was great! The flights to and from Costa Rica were on time, smooth, and enjoyable. The local company greeter was very friendly. He met us at baggage claim and got us to Car Retal Company. Getting the car was a fast, easy, and smooth process. BUT, it would have been better if the basic insurance and fuel had been included in the travel package, though. We ended up having to pay an additional $285 when we returned the car for the insurance and the fuel. We were especially happy that GPS was included with the rental. here is no way we could have gotten around Costa Rica without it, because none of the roads are marked. With GPS, driving was really easy. The hotels in La Fortuna and Manuel Antonio were fabulous. Both were beautiful facilities and they were both in beautiful, tranquil settings. The grounds were gorgeous, The staff were all so friendly. The breakfasts everyday were great. The hotel in San Jose was pretty nice too, except for the air conditioning breaking at 2 a.m. and leaking water all over the room. We had to switch rooms in the middle of the night. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was great, the hotel was conveniently located. We really liked how all the hotels had refrigerators and microwaves. We used them everyday. Also, we really appreciated that your local provider company phonmed us in La Fortuna and San Jose to welcome us and to see how we were doing, and to give us some helpful information. It was especially helpful when they told us about the $28 exit tax due at the San Jose airport before we flew back to the U.S. We had no idea about that tax until we got the phone call. We did a bunch of tours/excursions on our trip, but we didn`t book any of them through your website. We booked them through vendors in La Fortuna and Manuel Antonio. The tours were all fantastic. Your website is great. It is every easy to use when booking a trip or when checking on a current reservations. The website offers a great selection of travel packages or the ability to customize whatever trip you`d like. We were able to add a day onto our trip with minimal extra cost. Also, after booking, we were able to print all of our vouchers with ease. We really had a great time on this trip and would love to go back again! Our next trip will probably be Peru! Your local provider assistance was great and whisked us through airport in no time and got us on our way. Arenal Volcano/La Fortuna was great time with lots of activities for us to do, we took full advantage. Our three nights at La Mariposa at Quepos/Manuel Antonio were unforgetful with views from the Hotel that are probably the best in the whole country. The car was new, clean and very simple to rent and return. Everything was great except for 2 things. A highway was closed heading from Arenal to Manuel Antonio and the GPS wouldn`t reroute us in a good direction and none of the maps were very helpful. So, it took us 10 hours instead of 4 1/2 to get there. Also, the flight back was delayed by a day and a half and could`ve been handled better. It was a lot of waiting around for a phone call when they could have let us enjoy an extra day in Costa Rica. The hotels were absolutely wonderful. The included breakfast was excellent at each hotel. The food was great almost everywhere we went. We especially enjoyed our experience in Arenal and the tours we took. The person who met us at the airport upon arrival was also very friendly and helpful. he rental car was great as well. We would love to go back to Costa Rica when we get the chance.

When we decided to vacation in Costa Rica, I began browsing various websites and reading reviews by people who had taken trips using the various sites. I repeatedly read glowing reviews about trips set up through your website. I checked it out and liked the set-up choose your places of interest, get sample itineraries, choose your hotels and your means of inter country travel. We decided to go to the Arenal Volcano area and then go down to Quepos, Manuel Antonio Park. I was unsure about whether or not we could drive on our own successfully (family of 4; parents, 17-yr.-old girl and 20 -yr.-old boy.) We wanted the independence of having our own car but I had heard about bad roads and dirt roads in CR. I called and spoke with a representative and together we came to the conclusion that it would probably be the best thing for us to do. We landed in San Jose and were met promptly at the airport by the rep and taken to pick up our rental car (a short drive). Fortunately, I had been advised by a friend to rent the GPS, and it was a lifesaver, as many of the roads are unmarked. We then drove to our hotel and spent the night. The hotel was arty, interesting and convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful. We got up the next morning and drove to Arenal, where we stayed at the Volcano Lodge. Wonderful place - gorgeous grounds, great swimming pools and several good restaurants. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable. The view from our back patio was a clear ?picture postcard? of the volcano. That afternoon, we hiked down to the waterfall, a short drive from the hotel. Lovely! We had a great swim and hiked back (about 500 stairs and worth every one.) We then arranged a whitewater rafting trip and zip line tour, through the hotel. Each was fabulous, not to be missed! My husband lost several vouchers for upcoming hotels and we became quite concerned. I spoke with someone at the desk who assured me that they would take care of it. When we returned for the day, the vouchers had been faxed and all was in order, in a sealed envelope with our name on it. We were highly impressed! We left Arenal and headed south - all was well. Suddenly the highway or road we had been taking stopped - it was barricaded. This was the only difficult time we had. Finally our GPS found another route, which did get us to our destination, but took hours on a mountainous dirt road. Our car was a 4-wheel drive and we got through just fine, but it was slow going and not ideal. The hotel in Quepos was beautiful! La Mansion Inn, only 22 rooms, spacious, with a gorgeous swimming pool looking out onto the Pacific Ocean. Again, friendly staff, great food and lovely accommodations - not to mention monkeys playing in the trees outside of our room. We spent the next day at the beach in Manuel Antonio Park. We opted not to have a guide (they approach you as you enter the Park) but saw many monkeys, a sloth and a variety of lizards. The next day we signed up for a catamaran snorkeling trip, again, through the hotel. The staff made it a lot of fun, the meal they prepared was wonderful. I have to say that the snorkeling was disappointing - I saw only one kind of fish, but many of them. We headed for the rental car place the next day, they took us to the airport and we returned home. We all had a fabulous time! Your company did a great job - efficient, thorough, nothing went wrong which had been set up through them. We can`t wait to go back!
