There are no roads leading here, so visitors arrive either by boat or plane, which has helped to preserve the area's pristine environment, and eco-systems. Tortuguero's shoreline is also one of the world's most important nesting sanctuaries for Sea Turtles.

Hello, I usually don`t take the time to fill out these surveys after a trip, but I felt compelled to. The trip was a wonderful experience from the initial booking with Rea to the last transfer to the airport. Everything was handled professionally and with our comfort convenience in mind. All hotels were at or beyond what was expected and the occasional contact from your company made me feel that we were `in your care` throughout. There was one little glitch where a shuttle arrived 20 mins early and we were not ready yet (we felt bad for making people wait) - but that aside, it was a wonderful vacation and I have already recommended your company to several of my friends. Thank you again! Sincerely, Peter, UTICA, NY
