The Country Club and Spa in Valle Escondido. Hotel guests over fourteen years of age have access to this wonderful facility. The design of the club is that of a Spanish Colonial plantation home with a central garden. Instead of the garden we have a lap pool. A modern roof system has been installed which allows in light and heat but keeps out the rain. The entry to the facilities is grand with a large sitting area and check in desk. Here you can make reservations for the many spa treatments available. Downstairs you will find a racquetball court and a complete fitness center featuring the latest in life fitness cardiovascular fitness equipment and a complete array of free weights. A large screen TV will keep your mind off your work out or gaze out into the beautiful park outside as you work your way to a healthy lifestyle.

The spa facilities are first class and so are the spa treatments. The team has over 30 years experience in addition to 15 years of full time education.

The Quebrada Grande Golf Course. At 3,000 feet above sea level, you are in the cool mountain air and it is the only no sweat golf available in Panama. There is also golf shop, Tienda de Golf, that offers clubs and golf carts for rent. There is a training center with driving range where you can warm up or brush up on your game.

Valle Escondico have several locations in the resort where you can enjoy a great meal.

Sabor Escondido. The Sabor Escondido is the perfect place to enjoy a romantic dinner or a get together with friends and family. Sabor Escondido is housed in the large tent structure at the entrance to the pueblo. If you prefer you can order room service and enjoy the wonderful dishes right in your own room. The Sabor Escondido is reservations only and a dress code is enforced: Collared shirts required, no T-shirts.

The Higeron Cafe. Located on the river across from Hotel Escondido. A beautiful Higeron tree hangs out over the river and makes a perfect umbrella to shade from rain or sun. The cafe is a great place for lunch and serves great sandwiches and soups from 11:30am until 6 PM.

Bar La Cantina. This is a natural gathering place for guests and residents alike where you can enjoy a before dinner cocktail or an after dinner. Happy hours are scheduled weekly and you can get just about any beverage your heart desires.

Cafe con Leche (Coffee and Cream).This coffee shop has it all. Frappes, cappuccinos, mochas and many more coffee drinks are all here. In addition you will find food snacks in abundance and fresh empanadas and retidos as well as pastries. There are also several computers with internet available. Cafe con Leche is a real favorite among the guests and residents of the valley. Come and enjoy a board game or watch TV and enjoy the sights and sounds of the central park. Opens from 7am until 6 pm everyday.

Each has its own architecture and character. Most room have flowers names rather than room numbers. All of the rooms have LCD flat screen TV's and DVD players.
