fauna and flora. The Paleontology Park, 25 km from Trelew,
offers a one kilometer guided walk to observe clues of the
last 40 million years. Puerto Madryn, colonized by the Welsh,
offers a mix of colonial and sub-aquatic marvels. A Welsh
castle built in the late 1800’s is the center of the colonial
and Welsh cultural attractions. With 70 meters of visibility,
and several submarine parks, it is ideal for underwater
exploration, filming and photography.
Sea
Lions at Punta Loma Fauna Reserve, as well as several bird
species, and spectacular views also mark this area. Isla
de los Pajaros Natural Reserve is one of the first three
natural reserves in the continent. Guided whale-watching
tours operate daily in Puerto Piramide. With sensitive guides
whales can be observed during their mating and breeding
seasons. At Punta Valdes and Punta Delgada there are sea-lions
